Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a collaborative process between a therapist and a person in the session. Together, we will set goals for your healing and work at your pace and readiness for change.

The sessions should feel comfortable, safe, and empowering in a non-judgemental environment. I promise to be listening to your concerns and tailoring interventions to your unique situation and your needs.

My intention is to help you learn the skills you need to increase your self-awareness and empower you to move more freely in the journey of life.

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, a safe space is created to allow my clients to discuss their issues,

encourage adopting new communication styles, and develop new bonding. Using Gottman's approach to therapy enables couples to strive for healthier communication and the ability to resolve common conflicts. 

It is with the assistance of the therapist, clients will learn to identify patterns in their

relationships and how to change them in the future. 

The therapist works together with the client (the couple) to improve the client's communication and behaviors. 

In some situations, an individual session may be helpful to better understand the couples' dynamics and therapy goals.

The meaning of mindfulness is the essence of being engaged in the present moment and the ability to create awareness of our thoughts, emotions and connect with our body. Mindfulness has been supported by a great deal of research and has been incorporated in other evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and others. 

Mindfulness practices can assist you in sustaining your wellbeing and helping you manage the stressors we endure in today’s society. 

Mindfulness has been effective and has shown growth in achieving a more positive impact on our attention, our stress, anxieties, and low mood.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy is another form of talk therapy that is often used to help people with a wide range of mental health problems. 

CBT is evidence-based which means it has been studied and researched over the past decades and has demonstrated positive outcomes with people taking this therapy. 


CBT focuses on our cognitions (thoughts), our emotions (feelings), and our behaviours (actions) and how they interact together. In CBT, you will learn to identify patterns in your thoughts and behaviours and will be able to make changes that will impact your emotions.


CBT has been effective in multiple mental health issues including: 

  • Anxiety Disorders

CBT Therapy

Inner Child Work

Inner child work is often referred to as inner child healing and is a process that enables the adult to go through a healing journey and taking you back in time to your child-injury. Through healing your inner child, you will be able to address all the unmet needs from your childhood and resolve the attachment wounds that you have developed as a result of unmet needs. 


Using inner child work, you will allow yourself to unravel all of the maladaptive coping strategies you have developed in your childhood such as being avoidant, shutting out your feelings, poor communication, etc.) and fully embrace and integrate your past and your current consciousness.
